Empowerment: Telling your story

Essays and Statements of Purpose (SOPs). From sharing stories of admiration of a hero to pondering the semiotics of pareidolia; from discussing the mechanics of gardening to analyzing the impact of Toulouse de Lautrec in your art; from matching your graduate proposal with your faculty advisers' research interests to explaining the rigors of spelunking in India, the narratives, thoughts, and ideas expressed in your essays and statements of purpose empower you to paint a unique portrait of your life, values, abilities, hopes and, even, fears.

Indeed, our biggest strength at Hankook Education is empowering students to expressively craft cohesive, creative, and competitive essays. We devote months of one on one meetings with students to help them explore their life stories and future aspirations. Accordingly our students write authentic and insightful narratives that celebrate their unique contributions to themselves, their families, and social groups.

As you can no doubt imagine, your application essays, statements of purposes and resumes are extremely important documents and very often your only chance to appeal directly to an admissions committee. The success of any application therefore rests on how each essay comes together to capture an accurate snapshot of who you are and where you are going.
