Freshman Admissions
Freshman Applicants

The freshman application process is like an intricate timepiece whose moving parts require precision and synchronization - one wrong step, a lost SAT score report or an unsubmitted financial certification form, and your incomplete application is pushed to the back of the line or, worse, rejected.

The burden is on student and parents to juggle senior year classes (often the hardest), activities, excellence in standardized tests, and planning college lists and majors while not forgetting to weave his or her past and future into decisive personal essays.

Submitting applications after a hectic fall semester, students and parents might pause to celebrate, little knowing that the process is still less than half done. Universities are gigantic organizations that receive tens of thousands of applications, and it is up to the student to check, double-check and triple-check that all their supplementary materials  have been located and matched to their application.

Once the student receives the long awaited acceptance letter, we are all hard at work crafting an academic plan tailored to the student, helping identify suitable housing,  assisting parents with medical and financial matters - in short, we are there for students and their families!

In sum, from start to finish, successful freshman applications can require over fifty man-hours per school, and demands the rigorous coordination among dozens of individuals from students to high school counselors and teachers, from parents to admissions officers, standardized testing personnel, and, even, bankers. We at Hankook Education are there for students and parents; to successfully navigate through this maze and towards the university you deserve.

Application Processing. We emphasize one on one student advisory to coordinate the entire application process: managing application process, strategies for teacher recommendations, reporting scores and transcripts, managing application status process, enrollment and housing applications, visa processes, health and health insurance advisory, orientation and placement testing advisory.
