Applications for competitive boarding schools are typically far more complex and require substantial preparation on part of the parents. The main document, "application for admission," typically requires student and parent details as follows:
- Student details including age, gender, birthday, grade level, favorite subjects and extracurricular activities, family and peers, family relationships, community service, academic aspirations and so on.
- Parent details including age, occupation, contact information, reasons for sending child to boarding school, reasons for applying to the concerned boarding school, requests on behalf of the child and so on.
