Students learn a variety of subjects in a common academic area and are divided into majors and electives from the 9th grade. Students are more likely to participate in classes, with 6-7 courses per semester. Students aiming to enter college will enter the 11th and 12th grades to prepare for admission. Australian students begin their studies in depth by choosing subjects in their field of study.
 
Therefore, if a Korean high school student wants to study in Australia, he or she should take a year-long Foundation education to take a major course according to the department of his / her major. Especially from 2nd grade, the internal body is reflected, so pay attention to grade management.
 
Most private schools have dormitories, with tuition fees ranging from A $ 12,000 to 18,000 per year. While public schools are equalized and coeducational, most private schools are divided into male and female schools, and the differences between schools are severe and should be carefully considered when selecting schools.
 
Tuition fees vary from state to state, with additional contributions, school uniforms, textbooks, and extracurricular activities expected. The total amount is approximately A$3,000.
 
University Preparatory Program
The easiest way for high school graduates to enter a full-time Australian university is to enter university immediately after completion of the course, which will allow foreign students to become familiar with the Australian way of teaching. The college preparatory course is divided into several areas: business, information technology, science, art and design, with required and elective courses, and supplementary English classes are generally offered.
 
The enrollment period is mainly February and July, but it is flexible depending on the course. Durations are 11-12 months, 8-9 months, and 6 months. Tuition fees vary from school to school, but are approximately A$ 15,000-20,000.
