ESL / Language Schools

Language Schools

Language training institutes are divided into universities, colleges, and private institutions. In addition to language training, each institution offers a range of courses to suit each student's purpose and interests. The cost of training also differs from large cities such as Toronto and Vancouver, as well as small cities, which are 20-30% lower than those of large cities due to low prices.

University affiliated institutions

About 50 universities in Canada offer ESL programs. The entrance period is January, May, and September, according to the university's academic calendar. There are short courses for students during summer vacation. The main focus is on grammar-based systematic reading, writing, and debate. Students with English proficiency can take classes at university.

College affiliated institutions

Most colleges offer ESL courses. It is a good opportunity for students who want to be conditionally admitted. The university starts around January, May, and September, just like university affiliated institutions, and has various facilities on campus.

Private language schools

There are more than 100 private language schools in major cities such as Vancouver and Toronto. Intensive education is provided in comparison to institutions affiliated with universities and colleges, and in addition to classroom instruction, it provides an opportunity to study more fun through various cultural life and sports. Unlike private institutions, most private English institutions start every month and sometimes weekly.
