Malta Visa
Malta, like any other European country, is a member of the Schengen Convention and can travel for up to 90 days without a visa. This application also applies naturally to students who wish to study for less than 90 days, that is, less than 12 weeks.

When entering, I ask for a brief visit. If it is not for 12 weeks or for studying abroad, then "Sightsseing" or "Holiday" is probably the best answer.

However, if you intend to stay in Malta for more than 12 weeks, you will need to apply for a visa locally. The name is Temporary Residence Permit. Applying for a visa is not difficult or inconvenient as long as you prepare the necessary documents beforehand.

What is the Schengen Agreement?
It is a treaty that states that European countries use a common immigration policy to minimize the border system so that there is no restriction on transit between countries. The treaty was built on June 14, 1985 by five countries, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, on the Moselle River near the Schengen, a small town in Luxembourg, bordering France and Germany. (Princesse Marie-Astrid) Joined on board.

The Schengen Treaty Enforcement Agreement, signed five years later, supplements the previous Schengen Treaty, which provides for the elimination of borders between the participating countries.

After all, the term Schengen Treaty can be understood as a generic term for these two documents. Schengen Treaty members have been removed from border checkpoints and border checkpoints and can enter many countries using a common Schengen visa. For reference, this treaty does not include residence and work permits for citizens outside the EU.

The aim of the treaty is to abolish the border checkpoints and border checkpoints in the Schengen area known as the Schengenland. The Schengen country is known to be separate from the European Union. There are also four non-EU countries in the Schengen area and some non-EU countries, such as the UK and Ireland, but the EU's share is stronger. Since then, treaties have been concluded with other countries, with a total of 26 member states.

As mentioned above, if you wish to stay for more than three months due to language study or study abroad, you must obtain a Temporary Residence Permit.
